Folegandros is one of the islands of the marginal route and besides summer, when the routes are almost daily, its connection with Piraeus is not in the best possible situation.

The trip from Piraeus lasts more or less 9 - 12 hours depending on the number of ports that the ship stops, the traffic and the season.

During summer there is a daily connection with high speed ships and the trip lasts more or less 4 - 5 hours.

Alternatively, the visitors, who have Folegandros as final destination, can choose Naxos or Santorini as an intermediate station. That means that he can travel to Naxos or Santorini by ship or airplane and then through the local route he can get to the island.
